Kaushiki Chakraborty’s Music and Us is a unique initiative to bring together the traditional system of Guru-Shishya Parampara and the benefits of modern day technology ,and blend them together to create the most effective, comprehensive and engaging experience of learning Indian traditional Hindustani Music from one of the most celebrated singers of the present era, Smt Kaushiki Chakraborty.
We are very sure that the information , techniques, understanding and knowledge that has been imparted within the courses, will definitely help the students to better their singing skills, detailed understanding of Indian classical vocal music and pave a stronger path for their further musical journey.
The programmes of Music and Us online academy are carefully designed courses, starting from the most elementary concepts of Indian Music.
Each topic has been elaborately explained and demonstrated in specially crafted modules by Kaushiki herself, with supporting slides and PDFs for a comprehensive understanding of the students.
Along with the lessons the students will get assignments which they will have to prepare, record and send back to Music and Us for assessment.
The students will be graded depending on their performances and will be given a certificate at the end of the particular course.
